A: The monthly version of the game gets updated in the evening (UTC+1) on every last Monday of a Month Q: When does the update gets released on Steam/gog? A: The regular version on Steam/gog gets updated a week after the Patreon release to provide a more stable version of the game. Q: Can I get the Monthly update earlier on Steam? A: You can get the same monthly version the Patreons get on the same day by activating the beta version: Right click your game in steam -> Properties -> Beta

As a primary android user, I'm willing to switch to steam with my SD. Does it keep up to date? There was a negative review under it mentioning it not keeping up to date but i question usually anything without confirmation

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Let me put a little context there. We have an issue with android because it doesn't support apk files over 2GB (check android/renpy documentation). It's a technical issue, we can always ask Google to increase this limit. So we need to bypass the issue, hence the downloader. Next question is do you allow us to give access to latest releases to everyone? If yes, then we can remove the authentication. If no, we have to find an alternative to ensure you own the game. To be honest, I've been working on this downloader thing for almost 2 month and I just want our studio to drop android support. The time spent to find a solution is not a time I can add new events in the game. So, it's a pain , but you, users, are playing on android, so...

So no dice still doing the exact same thing. The andriod version isn't downloadable. I've tried everything I could to get it to work and I'm done. I'm seeing I'm not the only one with this exact problem. The authenticator is broken. I've tried to let it automatically download with it sitting on a request more data page of death. To a restart loop in manual because it can't check the validity of the token. I gave this far more time than I honestly should have . And that's because I actually like the game. I get it's frustrating to hear from us when your update is broken. You hear us bitching. But we wouldn't be bitching if we didn't like the game. I'm going to give it a few days. Hopefully you guys get a handle on it and fix it. I've supported you for awhile and I enjoy doing so especially since you put a ton of effort into keeping the game updated and pushing shit past the main release. And am more than happy to do so, especially compared to other similar games that i have stop supporting (though that's mainly due to them no longer supporting their game either) But not if it's unplayable on my phone. And I get that I could just get to it from my PC. But my preference is andriod. And again I'm not typically one to bitch when I like the game so hopefully you can fix it.

Yeah, the Android downloader is completely screwed up. Even when I enter the code manually, it doesn't accept. Says something about a reset and the whole cycle begins again. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok. I let it go for an hour the "requires more data" never changed. I tried to let the "found authentication token" for just as long and still nothing and the moment I tap on the screen for the manual one it says "unable to check token validity". I've deleted my browser history and downloads. Uninstaller and re installed. Nothing is working. I'm willing to wait till I'm home and use my wifi to see if that gives me anything different

The downloader didn't automatically get the token? Did you see the authorization summary screen in the downloader? If not click on manual authentication and paste the token.

Manual authentication is an option if nothing else works. If the automatic process says it need more data, you should wait a little more. I'll probably have to increase the delay before the manual authentication as it seems to confuse more than it's helpful.

Both. The automatic says needs more data and goes right into manual. Which does this cycle of putting in a code that it is unable to check the validity for.

I pushed a new version of the downloader (same version different build) and the related changes on the portal. You have to download the downloader again and retry. If you still have issue: - clear your browser cookies - clear persistent data in the downloader by starting an authentication and push the abort button.

When did this happen during the download process? Did you pass the authentication step?

Once again, this downloader thing is not something we want but something with need to keep supporting android as the game is over the size limit of an apk package (2GB). About your issue, you tried and fail, but was it during the automatic authentication process? Or did you try the manual authentication?

Ok. Your authenticator is broken on andriod. I've tried 10x now only for it to fail. I get my token from you only for it to "be unable to check token validity." It's your token! It's a pass code basically yea? I get you don't want people stealing your game but if it makes it so your supporters can't play too then maybe it's not worth it? Cause I'm thinking if I can't play why should I support?
