Yes. He has been training with Fanfan just to increase his martial arts capability and ki control. He doesnt use any internal techniques, except complete ki suppression.

She has appeared already in quite a few chapters in Master Fanfans school. She and Fanfan were watching the Intergalactic Tournament on TV since Chapter 4, and she also appeared in Nappas flashback being dragged away by her teacher to be disciplined. (SPOILER - I made a chapter years ago about her. Shes gonna be the main villain in the next arc)

They use ki, but not in the same way. Normal fighters project their ki externally to do their stuff like how we see them. Fanfans style channels ki internally and can manipulate it in other sources, but the trade off is they cant fly or project it externally. Nappa could theoretically go back to using ki externally, but he loses the advantages it affords him. A person can learn both, but it is extremely difficult, because the fundamentals are different.

Question. About master fanfan's dojo. I know she teaches internal martial arts that involves no ki, flying or energy blast, but nappa can still use external martial arts whenever he chooses and it's possible for a character in the dbz world to learn both arts right?
