Yep. We can deduce from the cover that Gohan is going to lean into the Gold Fighter persona more officially in this timeline. Videl has gone for a similar outfit to canon, but less bulky and loose, so it makes her athletic martial arts style shine through more (especially since she needs to be mobile, as she can't fly yet). And Erasa, of course, style over protection, but with the upgrades Bulma gave her suit for defense she will have zero issues.

I theorize that nimbus won't let you ride if you also have guilt on your conscience or genuinely know that what you are doing is bad, kind of like how Bulma and Roshi are lecherous, with the former also being greedy and vain as well. So this implies that what Videl and Erasa did was out of love, especially since Videl is sheltered and not as open as others, while Erasa genuinely loves Gohan and Videl. Gohan as well has nothing but pure and good intention, and he believes what he did was genuinely ordinary and nothing to be ashamed or guilty of.

The boy that she just met and fooled around with yesterday turning out to not only be half-alien, but the actual person who defeated Cell, is a lot to take in for the average person. And I don't think Erasa had the same suspicions about Hercule that Videl did either.

And honestly, with the way things were going, it seems like it would've taken a lot longer for them to pick up on it anyway since this Gohan seems like a harder nut to crack compared to his original self, or at least better at thinking on the spot when it comes to people almost figuring him out. lol. It's an interesting combo- a monk and a succubus chilling out in this part of the Demon World. Basically the succubus has latched herself onto Tang because she is intrigued by him, but he doesn't give into her temptations because of his discipline.

You are correct. It is Tang Sanzang, the OG. I know Akira created pseudo versions of him via Bulma and Krillin in Dragonball, but Goku always felt more of a direct reference to a Journey to the West character in the form of Sun Wukong. So I went ahead and created an official version of Tang in the story, one that actually carries his name and wisdom.
