August 2022 preview

This time is something I believe to be quite novelty, even within FGO official artwork, which is Mordred wearing a party dress.
I've had the idea for a long time now but haven't had a concrete enough image to execute the design.
It took months brainstorming litle by little to come up with a dress that fits Mordred without breaking her tomboy image, something sexy and elegant but at the same time does not lean too much forward the feminine side.
I also wanted the dress to have an aggressive feel to it, as if you can picture Mordred fighting in it.
And because of it being a party dress, I tried to limit myself from exposing Mordred's navel in most designs, as I think it gives a more mature, high-class vibe to the character.

Her outfit is very revealing in a classy fashion. She looks very confident in wearing her dress. Love the mixture of feminine and boyish vibes she gives . Glad that we're getting shots from different angles.

I think the main design is very good in combining elements of all the variations but is also the extent of 'feminine' that our tomboy knight would wear (I can hear Miyukicchi's voice in my head right now complaining of how embarrassed Mo is). A thought. For elements that may be a stretch for Mo-san, ever think of having Alter Mo (the silver-haired variant from the C97 book?) display it? Regular Mo reflects Artoria's tomboy-ness, but having Alter Mo reflect Morgan's allure might be a good creative outlet.

These designs look stunning! 😍Very sexy, exotic, and in line with her armorless getup in terms of aesthetics (i.e. in-character) but have a classier, more mature look to it. (still not a fan of glasses Mordred, tho. Very out of character looking. 😕) Looking forward to seeing this come the 18th. 😁Especially the mystery one. 👀
