Andaconda Nation

Things are picking up!

Pawzom Lz

If the % stats are for the progenitor only, then does it not kind of neutralize the disadvantage of achievements by actually making them easier to receive later on because of the massive stat boost? Once she reaches legendary tier and have 100-200% stat boost she will be straight up 2-3 times stronger than she should be and making items or killing legendary creatures will be much easier thanks to it. This is just weird if its for her only as it neutralizes most disadvantages the heirloom race is supposed to place on her. If it is for her entire race then the difficulty of gaining achievements will still hold true as if they were in a similar situation to her, then her descendants would not have the same difficulty by requiring more achievements for good options.

Rd Zg

They probably won't get the heirloom bonus because I think it is only for the progenitor of the race.

Pawzom Lz

They should get it, if not it would kind of defeat the purpose of a heirloom race in the first place. The way I see it the purpose of a heirloom race is to increase the potential of the entire race at the cost of the individuals time/effort by requiring them to get far more achievements to evolve their race than usual. It would be weird if some of the racial bonuses only applies to the one it originates from when the purpose of a heirloom race is to improve and refine what they will pass onto their descendants. Essentially, the reward of choosing a heirloom race is the fact that your descendants will have a far better beginning than you did. The same way good parents work(not just jobs) their asses off to make it so their children gets to have a better beginning than they did. For the parents the reward is the fact they succeeded. This is all just my guess though.

Neropol

But her descendants won't get the heirloom stat bonus, right?

Allpa

The heirloom race can be inherited by Alysara's descendants. All of them would be born as the five tailed runalymo at heroic tier. Creating a new subspecies.

Neropol

What exactly does the Heirloom class do? I know it alters her race permanently, gives additional stats and makes her upcoming evolution requirements harder; apart from that, I constantly feel like I am missing something.

Nematrec

Surface area is not the metric you want... Diameter is. Once you have a range equal or greater to the diameter you can send your perception anywhere in the world. Earth has a diameter of about 12,000km, while jupiter has about 140,000km. A little over 11x difference. Meanwhile the last hard number we saw on range was about 9,000km (about the distance to lunaley isles). So that times by 8. Easily capable of sending her perception to almost anywhere on the planet. Her title does not affect mana/magic sense as it does not manipulate mana. Her mana/magic sense increases the power of her title. One way relationship between them.

Nematrec

Tiers: bonuses are averaged Minor: +50% Adept: +100% Major: +250% Grand: +500% Heroic: +1,000% Exalted: +2,500% legendary: +5,000% Fabled: +10,000% Mythic: +25,000% ???: +50,000% Heirloom tiers have special requirements. Heirloom tier bonuses are to stats rather than skills or traits. Heirloom tiers: Heirloom: +10% willing to be passed down Unique: +25% one of a kind Artifact: +50% a great deed Relic: +100% a history Legacy: +200% a will Historic tiers make something harder to damage, and at timeless and primordial add regeneration and perpetuity respectively. We also don't have a confirmed required age for timeless/primordial. 100,000 years is less than the minimum, as there are items that old which aren't timeless. Additonally living beings can't have age tiers, though their individual parts (such as the soul) can. Historic tiers: Historic: 100 years Archaic: 1,000 years Ancient: 10,000 years Timeless: Over 100,000 years Primordial: Over 100,000 years and The First

Collateral_ink

Minor, Adept, Major, Grand, Heroic, Exalted, Legendary, Fabled, Mythic, and finally unknown (but probably Divine)

Vladistad

Less invader and more threat for the dwarves I believe? Lin, legendary being & oathbound is heading out to the east nexus because they know she's there, thanks in part to ther Emperor's knowledge, the origin of the dwarves no longer exists, so they likely don't know for sure, beyond that, the dwarves are working on their own machinations against the humans, and even if they guess that Aly is in the east nexus, there's a dragon there & they are likely to have to face off against Lin on the way there too. I think Aly is more likely to face off against the dwarves by way of her coming to them, instead of them coming to her.

Vladistad

Is there somewhere I can look to find the rankings in order from legendary downwards?

Neropol

The Dwarfs should be highly interested in Alysaria's soul. I mean, her soul could theoretically fuel the furnace for all eternity. Good thing they don't know that she is a primordial soul.

Collateral_ink

I am still intrigued that she has not gotten a skill related to Inscriptions yet. My only working theory is that because the skill never existed before, as confirmed by her evolution text which we can assume doesn't lie, she is still effectively "creating" the skill and will only receive it when she has reached complete mastery of it, gaining the skill at max level once she "creates" it. To me, that seems like at a minimum of two Legendary Points, one for the usual "unparalleled Mastery and Knowledge" and one for actually making a skill. That second one might even be worth a Fabled point.

Squirtle

She can Scry 140000 km now, according to the math heads on discord, which is anywhere on the planet

Pawzom Lz

In terms of surface area, Jupiter is 121.9 times bigger than the Earth. So even if her range has increased by the 8 times that Nematrec guestimates, shes only at about 4/121.9 the way there? Chances are quite high she cant scry the continent yet then. Will probably have to get her race to exalted and get some more mana skills to boost her title more. The ones I know off that she does not have is Total Mana Control and Total Mana Resistance. The Water Affinity skill was mentioned early on in the story so Mana Affinity should also be a thing?

Jachin Nelson

She was at half the diameter of earth last she did the math, and the planet is the size of jupiter

Pawzom Lz

It would be less specific towards inscriptions though, which would have a more broad reach on things. Ofc that is assuming a specific benefit like that from crafting can be incorporated into her race, if it cant then it would proably be just as good.

Nematrec

The airship trial point would work just as well and be directed more or less to the same things.

Nematrec

her recent race up massively increases the tier boost to her Sense Magic. it should be around 4 time longer range after increasing 2 tiers at once. That's on top of her perceptive eye breakthrough that doubles her range. So about 8x the range she had before. She's approaching the point where she can spy on a significant fraction of the planet.

Pawzom Lz

I am guessing the dwarves is going to be the future invaders(or at least the main one?). The elves suffered too badly at Safyrs hand to risk anything but stealth operations. This will give Aly a chance to learn more about crafting and souls by studying their magitech. I also have a guess as to what Aly's future LP will be for exalted to legendary. It will probably be the point she gets from inscription after advancing it enough. It will then be based on crafting, invention, knowledge, mana and magic(and maybe inscription, giving her and her descendants a bonus for that profession in particular? It would be fitting).

Pawzom Lz

Does she have the range for it though? Last we checked she could only scry a little further than the Lunaleyan Islands that is relatively closeby while the exiles spent 3 years travelling on the back of an exalted/legendary(not sure which) turtle to get to the continent. While the turtle probably went nowhere near its max speed we dont know if she is in range of the continent even if we include both the title and her increased race bonuses.

Jemini

I'm more interested in what Lin's reaction will be to Alysara scrying the empire from the nexus. She's definitely got the range for that now, and it's exactly in her character to want to look into them once negotiations start. I'm positive it's going to happen, and it's likely the first Lin will be made aware of it is Aly suddenly asking about the pained ones.

Luboš Hemala

I wonder how will Alysara view their creation of cursed beings and their Oathbound trials.

Dragonkinn

that would be something

Tjark

I'd love to see Klaman, self proclaimed one of the most powerful beings in the world, get smacked around like he's nothing.

AClassroomSpider

thank you for the chapter!. .

Tjark

Lin is a legendary being. A bit of not even boiling water should be nothing.

Crashdevil

I wonder how klaman will react to all of this. Things could get interesting if he somehow intercepts lin or tries to interject into their meeting.

Demalos

Congrats on chapter 200. You know the elves and the dwarves are messed up when the humans could be considered the lesser evil. (Mobile can be a pin sometimes)

Dantalia

Hmmm

Neropol

Congratulations on reaching 200 chapters!!! It seems Alysaria needs to invent an EMP based on the MM force that would make fighting the mecha army easier if it comes down to a conflict. I also hope that the first meeting between Kayafe and Alexander will be heartwarming to read.

D

[Ding! The author Comiak has reached a milestone: 200 chapters] GZ! :)

Straven

Yeah there's going to be so many encounters up coming that'll just be something to read. Thank you for another chapter.

Andrew

Thank you!

lan kanl

If Lin Can Survive The Blazing Heat Or Not. Since They Bathe In Boiling Water And The Seas Around Them Are Also. Just The Ambient Heat Alone Is Crazy. Also Happy 200th Chapter, Great Job Comiak

Kenneth Baxter

I look forward to reading the meeting of humanity and the runalymo. I wonder how many chapters until the meeting

Collateral_ink

From what I can tell, Humanity's entire mentality is "We're better than you, but don't worry, we can improve you to suit our needs!" The fact that their leader is obsessed with "improving the lesser races" doesn't change the fact that from a fundamental level they consider themselves better than basically everyone. Morally superior, too. Lin will take one look at the Runalymo, who are mostly Adept, and then at Alysara, who is "only" Heroic race, and think she can order them to do whatever she wants. Yeah...this probably won't end well.

Richard Fromdahl

Interesting way to move the story forward. Kayafe's gonna be sad when she learns about the descendants...

Katherine

Oh, this will be interesting. Also, congrats on 200~

Gunnar Crider

10 bucks says that links fucks up and leaves a bad impression, because of arrogance

Kaeson

Great chapter 👍
