It was stated far earlier in the story that applying a legendary point to a bond could potentially alter it, even changing the element/essence it's based on. I have to wonder if Aly could get a Primordial Bond with a legendary point from solo creating primordial mana. That doesn't really sound like something she'd do, even if she could, but with the Reality Eater as our potential endgame, all sorts of stupidly broken OPness becomes something necessary, instead of something to be avoided. I'm still waiting for her to get the idea that if Sense Magic can see miasma and aether, then Manipulate Magic can probably affect them. Preferably with lots of supervision.

Iirc, Myrou got the message of 'You have discovered the Archive of Eternity' which implies there's only one.

I do wonder what process could have formed the Reality Eater? Various things can cause a cursed being to form so what caused the Reality Eater? Did Reality Eater spawn as a peak Legendary being that couldn’t be handled by those of its native realm and it became strong enough to devour the entire realm thus moving to Fabled tier? Or did it spawn as a Fabled tier being which begs the question of who was dicking around to create a Fable tiered cursed being whose destructive tendencies is the devouring of realms? Cursed don’t seem to be spawned unrelated to sapient life so what gives? Maybe Alysara can discover that, among other things, and discover something that can stabilize cursed beings. Would be nice if you don’t have to enact a ritual using all existing realms as sacrifice to face Reality Eater and instead changed it to a more docile form. No idea what it even looks like (humanoid or some nebulous scary space cloud?). Though cursed beings aren’t ones for stealth and reality eater most of all as the destruction of a realm signals its arrival.

The First age of mana was when Humanity discovered mana and Mark became the first Mage (and later World Mage). Wonder if Mark was the head researcher or scientist responsible for discovering it and thus he had the opportunity to become the first mage as he knew the most about it. Well Kayafe and Alysara both know about Primordial mana now and how making it solo is worthy of legendary (maybe even Fabled?) tier achievement. Fabled tier is equivalent to destroying a realm or defending a realm (solo) from certain destruction so is making Primordial mana of a difficulty to belong in that scale? Hard to know but is legendary at a minimum. Alysara’s soul really has supreme seniority over pretty much all existing things (though the sense of “I am OLD” is dull due to reincarnation as Alysara). Only exception is if there are other Archive’s of Eternity out there. She can later on examine and try to recreate the conditions that caused various Ages to End for more breakthroughs and finding out more about various fundamental forces like Aether and miasma.

Imp

55th breakthrough was for manipulating magic, ala chapter 202. This should be 56th and 57th breakthroughs

Assuming she does beat him. Honestly, if Aly can create the things she does without any sort of buff from classes and only some racial skills and Manipulate Magic, just imagine what a god, with a crafting bond at level 10k, with a race and multiple classes in the thousands can make. Realistically, she shouldn't be able to win even with her insights into magic, unless something fantastical happens when the weapon's been finished. Like it becoming a legendary item. But even then, the god of crafting should have a similar tier resulting from his classes and such. The healer queen from a while back mentioned that the royal craftsman could use their anima in order to create forced magic items, like what Aly was doing. If a god, who's fused their anima with their bond, which is over level 10k were to do that, it wouldn't be surprising if the item was on the edge of getting past legendary tier.

Bad Dog

I agree with your reasoning. You know what has to be worth a Fabled point? If she actually beats the god of crafting in a crafting contest. Especially when you consider the consequences of failing, she is gambling with her frigging soul. There is no way in hell that won't generate a world message and grant a Fabled point.

Might be a next chapter thing? I feel like if one of them managed to do it alone, it'd be a fabled level achievement. Since, even with 2 of the most powerful users of "Manipulate Magic," one of the strongest magic based skills which has already been enhanced, they couldn't do it without another Legendary and Articact tier item specifically made to manipulate mana. So with it split between them, it should qualify as legendary

Nobody

No world announcement? Is it because they used the Arc and worked together?

I wonder if Aly will uncover some connection to miasma.

Mr NerfGun

Hhmmm, if Primordial Mana created a normal mana dead zone, then she could surround her sword spear with it and make an anti-mana weapon. That would be so cool, though not that useful for Aly.

Paradox

I think it will create a mana dead zone

Kaboom???

Now with Aly having managed to compress mana even further I cant help but wonder what happens if next, rather than compression, she tries to split a mana particle?

Straven

Great chapter, loved this new discovery!

Thanks for the chapter

Considering Alysara has rediscovered primordial mana, could she potentially use this as a new way to strengthen herself considering she has “godly” beings wanting to make use of her as if she was an object? Could she create new classes representing the first and second ages after the advent of mana? I wonder if this weapon being created could kill enemy “gods” with higher level mana than they can deal with🤔?
