A virus has spread across Japan, which at first was seen as a nuisance. It made everyone become radically more sensitive to physical stimuli, prone to fits of laughter even when they werenβt all that expressive or ticklish.
That was until people started dying. Tickled to death by coworkers, enemies and the curious. Those who died in this way didnβt stay dead however, their expressions permanently fixed with the hysterical expressions they had when they died.
One laugh, one chuckle or tiny giggle is all it takes to arouse them. Then they charge at you, laughing hysterically as they did in their final moments, ripping apart your clothes and pinning you down.
They swarm their victims, tickling them until they too snap and eventually die. It doesnβt matter if it takes hours, days or weeks.
They wonβt stop laughing until you do.
