I can retire in about 8 years. Splitting the country up would mean I’d have to choose between staying here until I can retire with a pension or throwing away nearly 20 years of work and taking the cash value of my contributions, which isn’t even close to enough to start over. Plus I’m in a red state, who knows if our pension funds would remain solvent. The whole thing sucks. Yet if this ever happens, save yourselves (and maybe leave a door open for those us who can’t leave immediately).

I just told my husband “the dollop did a chollop on groypers” and after having me repeat it he said it sounds like I’m talking about two guys doing drugs at a party. He’s also pretty stoned right now though so… 🤷🏻♀️
