The Seablock Video (the first one)
🕑 Added 2023-05-25 09:44:18 +0000 UTCIts out, the first installment of my pelagic panic is here for your enjoyment. This one was a lot of effort to edit down, so hopefully it was worth the wait.

I believe it's the pinned comment on Youtube, but Clean Floor Larger Lamps Mechanicus Milestones Pushbutton Recipe Book Recursive Blueprints Santa's Nixie Tubes Stats GUI Text Plates Time Speed UI Hotkeys Vehicle Snap Wire Shortcuts Pretty bare

Any chance of a place to see the list of all the mods you are using? Or just the save to be lazy to sync the mods?

I'm up to, I think, my fourth rewatching of this video. Can't wait for part 2!

had been away from factorio for a bit but this video has inspired me to try my own substantially less clean run on seablock-love the mall design in particular
luna_paradox
thanks, you alone got me back into the factorio trenches, not sure if that's something good, but good job anyways

Amazing video! Can't wait for the next part(s). You inspired me to start an, albeit multiplayer, seablock run myself too :D Great content as always

You're obviously at least a good 80-100+ hours into this project once editing is included, but you can kind of "cheat" the start of Seablock with the editor by telling it to generate in "island" mode. Then you get a lagoon with a big island around it, the island being covered with vegetation for disgusting amounts of early wood and all the plants you could ever want. To the point of setting up a grenade line just to clear land. Some people would consider it cheating, and you're way too far in to restart now, but just a thing to mention if anyone else wants to join their intrepid hero on a tropical alien island vacation where they drop hammers on their feet repeatedly. P.S.: loving your videos.

Thanks mate! Great video. I feel like you’re really improving a lot at editing. While I felt like I got lost a bit at times during the SE with what you were doing and how you were progressing, particularly against what was shown on screen vs what you were narrating, this video felt a lot more natural and flow much better. Well done!

Best day of the month! :) Thanks
