Per your comment about your ideal farming game being in a Blame!-style megastructure, I legit have a design doc I worked on for a game jam a few years ago with that exact premise. You are not alone in the desire for a sci-fi twist on farming games!

I think graveyard keeper would have been an interesting game to examine although it’s much less a farming simulator as it is an organ harvesting sim. But it does have farming
