I guess it is true... if by hit the bridge one means "flew under it". Kind of a key point worth pressing that if you dont give the badguy the chance to commit a crime, you then cannot accuse them of said crime. Obviously saying it the way she did provides far better cover for when someone reviews the com chatter for the post-op debriefs and its not like anyone else was around to record the exact details.

That's Maxima's story and she's sticking to it. :) Though in the AAR, it'll likely come up and be added in as part of the "be aware of your suroundings" block of instruction under "assume you'll miss and hit whatever's behind your target or it will hit, but the target will deflect it somewhere else."
