The important parts still are

Sydney! The correct response is: "A limb suit? Cool!" She must not have seen any Six Million Dollar Man or Bionic Woman growing up.

"Full Ham" - is that like 'ham-fisted'? Or is it some gaming reference?
Grimfox
Probably has a neural interface which allows for complete simulated feedback. Note that the bronze shell of the arms extends around the back of her neck excellent access to the spinal nerves.
Merle Blue
At least her robolimbs are awesome and functional! Though now I am wondering how much feedback she gets from them.
Foradain
We're not quite at this level of functionality yet, but some Smart Folks are working on this sort of devices: https://grabcad.com/library/zipgrip-some-edits-are-being-added-1
Aclys
its also her legs! *badumptish*

To be fair, arch-swat is a unit meant to respond to superhuman threats, not to police the streets. If a situation doesnt require the application of supernormal levels of non-lethal to lethal force.. They are not likely to be the team you need. (obviously doing search and rescue/cleanup jobs in disaster areas is one noteworthy exception).
Foradain
So, when Cora exercises her right to bear arms, it's not just the weaponry...
GarryAlways
Sydney's read the whole comic already
Stephen Gilberg
Halo could have used slightly better words. "Use non-lethal force whenever possible" could be taken to mean "Use force whenever possible, albeit non-lethally." But I'm not complaining. I wouldn't have said it any better without a script.
Stephen Gilberg
So she's not as naked as she sounded.
Dark Kuno
There's a difference between stopping off at a market kiosk to pick up a what amounts to a trinket (the holowings) vs looking for what amounts to an actual medical unit that would be familiar with human biology.
Town Crier
So why haven't they gotten Sydney's glasses repaired? Or, better yet, some sort of high-tech upgrade?
James Kowal
Heck, in a society where we have decent vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella people still contract those diseases (sometimes through missing the vaccinations, sometimes through choice of guardian). High tech and high standard of living offer the opportunity for a better life, but not the guarantee of one regardless of our own actions. The obesity epidemic in First-World nations is a good example of that. It would be hard to relate to (and build a fictional world we're invested in) a society where people don't act like people in a way we're familiar with.

Everything is a dildo if you're brave enough.
Michael Obert
Yes Sydney; quadriplegia . . . Hilarious!
Tim
Kinda curious how a society high-tech enough to create "limb suits" wasn't advanced enough to prevent children from being born with such disabilities. Then again, maybe they can't for some reason and that's why they're so good at making limb suits. They had to be.

i bet in highscool she could attach other useful installments
