Dave's not the only reason I look forward to Mondays. My sense of aesthetic is a bit different from a lot of people's; I've met the goddess and compared to her, everything else is just meh. So for me the somewhat lesser art doesn't detract from quality story telling like on <a href="http://pastutopia.com." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://pastutopia.com.</a> I thus have two things to look forward to on Monday. But this is still a big part of my yay Monday/Thursday.

I'll keep playing with it. Max suffers the most from this style, but I'll keep the comic on schedule even if the art gets a little simplified for a few weeks. Hopefully I won't be reduced to stick figures.

The cell shading thing- I think it could work if you used it for secondary characters on the page and just do the super-detailed colours on whoever's speaking. I'm not sure how well that would work, but you can't get away with it on Max, that gold skin just looks like a Simpson now.

The first time, i read that as ‘paramilitary casual’ and i was really amused by that concept. Then i reread the comic. ParaMILFitary feels like too many levels of pun stacked into one word.
