I think its the other way round. Remember how they said they cut "most of" her head off? I think she is a she from the stitches up, and the rest is just a body of convenience

It would make more scene for them to have a human on hand so he could replace the blood when she takes it. I do find the Wonder Twins reference amusing. A bit funny that a centuries old vampire would be making it.

Yeah, but do they have the tricks to figure out which vampire? Unless they can do that whole Thamaturgy thing where you can track a person with a bit of blood, it's pretty unlikely a "Multi-Century old Vampire" would be in a DNA database under his own name (assuming vamp bits hang around after they've left the donor long enough to be found and collected).
