Hands in panel 5 feel wrong. Best guess is that Sciona is holding his neck with left hand to gain leverage, while holding his pistol hand with her right, slowly forcing it to point back to himself. Except that Sciona's left hand (looks connected to her body) has too much muscles in her forearm (compared to frame 1 AND to her right hand in frame 5) and doesn't match her skin color (this difference may be because it's in shadow). And that guy's right hand (holding pistol) is too slender and DOES match Sciona's skin color.

Heh, I actually really enjoy those crazy super violent mangas where people get cut completely in half or they explode, Fist of the Northstar style. Grrl Power will never be like that, (partially because drawing bisected organs is a real pain in the butt) but sometimes bad guys need to be bad.

Council DID try beheading already... didn't work either. It was only partial, but in my book that is WORSE (harder to recover) than complete beheading where brain stays intact.

Well, we can thus conclude that This villain, at least, does not have "being riddled with bullets" on her list of weaknesses. Nor being staked through the heart, one dares presume. Jury is still out on the beheading however!
