I have carpal tunnel syndrome. My doctor suggested I sleep with wrist braces on instead of surgery. And that's what I'm doing. You'd be surprised what you'd be willing to do instead of letting them cut into you.

Plenty of websites will sell you various types of gloves and mittens specifically designed to prevent easy removal. She might need a safeword, though. :)
