Given the levels of realism you add (underneath the superhero frosting), I have to wonder what was in that needle. Paralytic agents that work that fast are usually rather deadly (see blue-ringed octopus venom and how it paralyzes all your muscles—including those that operate the lungs). For that matter, you've gone to great lengths to show Sydney as being human-normal (apart from a diabolical level of capsaicin tolerance and her orbs). falling forward from her knees to clock her head on that concrete rooftop will not be doing her any favors either.
