Of course she's talking out of her ass. If you recall, she's currently paralyzed, so she can't move her mouth enough to talk out of it. However, talking out of ones ass generally requires the use of what are normally considered "involuntary" muscles. These generally aren't actually inhibited due to most forms of paralysis. This isn't generally considered a major feature, because involuntary muscles generally can't be controlled by normal people. Sydney is not, however, a normal player. She's a mid-20s D&D player. *Everybody* knows they can talk out of their ass with the best of them.
