I'm thinking it is. Imagine Anvil running while wearing a spandex top with only herself underneath it. . . . *waves hand in front of Nematrec's face* *That's* why they wear sports bras, instead of just spandex. Anvil's just has a clever catchphrase printed onto it. ^_^

Excellent idea! Of course, until she learns better, she'll be going into interruption-debt, and just have to keep running. When she collapses from her blood sugar level dropping to far, or dehydration, or other medically verifiable excuse, she can stop running, and her interruption-debt is cleared, but she has to wait for the debrief . And since she missed today's debrief, 'cause she was in sickbay, she can either ask around the water cooler or submit a written FoIA request.

I see a few ways to interpret Anvil's sixth-panel reaction: (a) There's bad news that she doesn't have the heart to tell Sydney, (b) she's grossed out by Sydney's relationship with Frix, or (c) Sydney's Bambi eyes freak her out.

Um, you know, I think you have a point there. Thinking about it further, she probably used those puppy dog eyes to get the orbs, which is why she got them rather than someone else. She just doesn't have the normal super look, because puppy dog eyes don't work as well when you're a 2 meter Amazon with giant boobies.

I think she's using "get" as a noun. It's vernacular but not unheard of. Like if someone acquires something unexpected or impressive, you could say "that's a good get" in congratulation. It could be military slang, I'm not sure.
