I think the marching-in-formation is, for supers at least, more about a sense of discipline and "we are team", than about actual military benefit. Then again, I can imagine harem marching down in formation to be really terrifying.

Does Ren have a cool color-coded IFF/GPS/Maps/bunch-of-other-stuff collar? I never seem to see him wearing one...

Re: Close Order Drill, a.k.a. "Marching about in formation" I can see Archon dropping this from their training, as it is even less relevant to supers than it is to modern military. After all, superpowered soldiers are much more impressive if they are flying down the parade route... OTOH, some supers can't fly, and there is some benefit in terms of quick and appropriate reaction to orders, so I can see Archon keeping it, as well...

Justaguy

Always did like that scene.

Hansuwepeter

How does a tiny little girl like Syd actually even GET slide bite?

Town Crier

Of course, Sydney will lay waste on the cute girl carrying the stack of advanced science books,,,

Basically, she's referring to giving someone so much of what they want that they get sick of it. In Brewster's Millions, Brewster is given a huge amount of money to spend inside of a month in order to get the rest his uncle's huge fortune, the idea being that by being forced to spend frivolously, he'll treat the rest of the fortune more wisely. (And no, he's not allowed to have any assets at the end of the month. He has to waste it all.) It's actually based on a novel from a century ago, which should be available on Gutenberg, although the social mores are very different - and since he's not allowed to tell anyone why he's spending so wastefully, everyone really thinks he's gone mad.

Stephen Gilberg

Not having seen "Brewster's Millions," my best guess is that she feels half-buried like on the poster.

She's likes to act little crazy, especially in situations where it does no harm. Not a psychopath. And it doesn't look like they are doing the live fire course again, so there won't even be the "old lady" option.

50 bucks says Sydney empties a clip into the old lady target

Evgeny Sandu

Aw come ON! Everybody knows it thanks to Counter Strike! Since 2000!

Awwwww it's the little scaled down airsoft version of the p90, so cute!

Force Gaia

There'll be some of us who mainly know the P90 from it's prominence in the Sword Art Online spin off "Gun Gale Online" where the protagonist favoured one.
