If Harem's into chaphop, she could definitely mix up some pseudo-Edwardian rap lyrics in a barbershop quintet style. Mister B would be a salient reference, assuming he exists in the Grrlverse.

Eric Loken

To be fair, she is quite correct, that would completely fly as a record label.

Eric Loken

Heh... and I go down one post and see someone had already said it.

There's nothing wrong with barbershop; Sydney is just a snob. People who haven't heard good barbershop often denigrate it. Barbershop is actually an awesome artform that many people love. Done well, it's amazing. Think Pentatonix without the beat-boxing. Admittedly, done poorly it's back to karaoke night (and without the the backing instrumentals). There is some excellent stuff on the web. However, I mostly listen to men's groups, so I won't suggest any women's groups Harem could copy. Anyway, it is mostly a cover style - very little original music is composed for barbershop.

Ian Brown

I love seeing "Disco Max" still popping off in the background.

Marc Vun Kannon

I love Sydney's facial expression in the last panel.

Doug Northcote

I think, if it's quiet out... you can hear the eye roll click in the last panel.

Churchill (formerly TeaBear)

Imagine what she could do with Bobby McFerrin material.... ^___^

Suisapphism… “self-lesbianism”… Dude, they’re all her - it’s just complicated masturbation.

Dave Barrack

Sui – “self” as in suicide, which breaks down into “self” and “murder” Sapphism, as in sapphic. So, self lesbianism. Yes, I made the word up, but from existing word bits.

Richard Riley

Per the cast page, "each body is capable of totally independent action, she can perform multiple disparate and complex tasks simultaneously." And she should definitely be in Pitch Perfect!

Richard Riley

I tried Googling "Suispappism" - it said "Did you mean: Suespuppies? It looks like there aren't many great matches for your search." Then it provided one link - this comic page.

Stephen Gilberg

What's wrong with barbershop?

James C

Not the Jackson 5?

Brett

I would suggest I Think I’m a Clone now by Weird Al. Perfect song for Harem.

James Domec

The arms in panel 2 are freaking me out.

Marc Vun Kannon

I would think that one mind would have a bit or trouble making multiple different notes come out of multiple mouths. Which one of them is the beat-boxer? Will she be in Pitch Perfect 4?

Justaguy

It can't be both?

FeyOne

I completely missed that detail until I read your comment and went back to look for her! It's fantastic!

Justaguy

(Very incomplete list) The Bangles Diana Ross and the Supremes. Martha & The Vandellas En Vogue Expose Wilson Phillips The Shirelles Destiny's Child TLC Pointer Sisters The Go-Go's Bananrama Expose I'm sure at least 5 people have said the Spice Girls by this point Girls Aloud Pussycat Dolls Wonder Girls (K-Pop) Little Mix Fifth Harmony The Body Snatchers Celtic Woman Lesbians on Ecstasy Cherri Bomb Dixie Chicks The Organ Poison Dollys Pussy Riot (may require speaking Russian) Screamin' Sirens Supercute And finally The Whoreshoes.

Thomas Dorner

Is that still debugging or are the having fun at Max's expenses? ;-)

Justaguy

Oooh, Rainbow Max.

Kizik Ucalegon

Rocketman, in the style of William Shatner, with each word spoken by a different Harem.

Michael Obert

Uh, Spice Girls? Hello, Lol. Harem's even got all the hair colors going on!

Christophe GABEL

I love multicolor Maxima in the background!
