Vehemence must be really bored in prison to stop in a middle of a fight and play ball with Maxima here. Without at least a trickle of violence, he starts getting full body restless leg syndrome, and that's just for starters. Just like a succubus can't self-pleasure to gain tantric energy (like there's not any other reasons to do it) Vehemence can't punch himself in the face to power up. Now, if he smashes his head through a wall, and that causes sizeable collateral damage, then he can start building power from that, but if he's not already powered up quite a bit, he can't do enough damage for a net gain. Just like tantric magic, vehemic magic is much more effective the more people are involved.
For her part, Maxima takes pride in being a flying brick who actually knows a little bit about fighting, but she also likes to cut loose when she gets a chance.

Spent most of the weekend working on the next vote incentive/nudie thing, but I think I've figured out the Eye-Q powers of everyone involved for the final fight... unless the final fight is against dinosaurs. No spoilers?

Kevin absorbs in the same way a succubus does, but for violence instead of sex. It's not similar to Kenya's ability to absorb kinetic energy. He could probably get juice from a violent enough videogame, like say one of the newer Doom ones. Which is probably why they have him on Kirby. So it's like that new-ish succubus in that bar scene hanging out outside the bathrooms to get a topup. Violence happening around him is what powers Kevin, not how hard he gets hit, aside from harder hits generally corresponding to more violence.

From experience, doing kicks that require a wide range of motion, in jeans SUCKS. Jeans really weren't designed for doing that without splitting.

So, Kevin's power is similar to Kenya's, in the broad sense that the harder they get hit the better it is for them? Kevin's absorption is an area effect, vs. Kenya's body. Seems like their powers would be wildly synergetic together. If Kenya's power doesn't have a limit, could she charge up Kevin at a geometrically increasing rate?

Agreed. And don't forget, depending on the setting there isn't much difference between villains and heroes, they're both fight junkies. This setting looks like it might be better than that, but having the wiggle room for people to be able to change sides helps to make things more interesting.

Mach 2 with one blow. Kevin would prefer a constant diet of slightly less than Maxima levels. But he also knows if he tries for an escape, she will just vaporize him. So it's eat what your offered, when your offered and don't rock the boat.
