Updates, GUI, Femdom City M.A.N.T.I.S.
🕑 Added 2018-12-02 14:40:33 +0000 UTC Alright, lets talk a bit about the boring stuff that I've been up to in the past 2 weeks. I've recreated the Game User Interface and the mechanics. And that's pretty much it. Nothing exciting.Remember how the first Femdom City User Interface looked? With the green buttons on screen? And when you took a look at your stats you saw 4 numbers? That's a bit different now and some of the stats have changed as well:
So we got the 6 stats you see above + Energy Points, Willpower, Days and Money. I am working on perks as well, meaning on specific events you can earn yourself a perk like: "Footworshipper: With this perk you don't lose willpower anymore when you work as a footboy / bootcleaner at the underpass!" (notice some space between the name Testslave and the stat bars? that's where they hopefully are going to pop up)
Now when you hover over a character, that character gets highlighted. No more buttons. Same for the jobs by the way.
And this is basically all I've been doing. I've rendered one or two basic scenes for the jobs, but just to work on the mechanics as well.
Now, to the fun part: We will do a testrun in the next 1-2 weeks. More likely in 2, but you never know. Until then I will fill the game with content and scenes, so you got something interesting to look at ;). I'm a bit worried about it, because the game is now 1920x1080 in fullscreen mode and 1280x720 in window mode. With the amount of animations that I'm planning for this game, it might be challenging for a few laptops and older computers. We will see.
The intro and some other scenes are already rendered and implemented, and the game feels fucking awesome. Who liked the first Femdom City will love this one!
Support has been lacking a bit in the previous month due to no release other than the Asylum which became free for all. So I still don't have all the assets that I want. But that isn't really an issue, it just means that some places like an underground club will be uncovered a bit later in the game ;). Since this game is planned to be open world, meaning you can go wherever you want rather than doing episodes, I should be able to update it with new scenes and places very frequently. We will see...

I've talked about this multiple times now, it's in the post right above: Femdom City will get a reboot. with new graphics, mechanics, characters and so on. it will be available soon but it is not available yet.
I really enjoyed the free demo of this game, but is there a latest version of this for patrons to play? I'm having trouble finding it if there is.

it will be different. A complete reboot with only new scenes. It will start where the first femdom city demo ended.
But there will be more actions than in the demo version) this is already a bomb)

Hi :) Did you read the text? Because I'm not sure what you mean with "a game"...a new episode of Femdom City will come, yes. Like I've already explained in detail in the post above. But it will not be a complete game. Parts of it will be missing and the story will just be starting out...

I see, what a shame. i like the symbolic meaning of a collar. Damn its really not good talking about these things. makes me get excited for ur game. its best to just forget about it and be suprised when u finally release/update em :) cheers mate

yes, some things like that are planned, others not. for example, wearing a collar is not an option. I would have to redo every scene with the protagonist wearing it. that would be a) too much size and b) too much work

i see great potential in contracts. you could make it that if sign a contract with the wrong girl they abuse you and fuck u up. kind of a bad ending way. and other girls use you in a more reasonable way. you could still play the game as u please but u would have to wear a collar and perform special tasks for your new owner. you could even implement buyout fees for the "lower" girls from downtown. so in order to reach the needed money you will have to farm for 30 days or so. then you could check out other contracts
really excited for even a drop of new content for femdom city. The demo was excellent, but super keen to see where it goes next.

not sure how the contract options will work right now, but they will most likely not give unique perks

in general i like it when u have to commit to s1. but it does have to feel right obviously. maybe you could make "normal" perks for every sort that u can always get and 1 epic perk as soon as choose to take a contract as footservant for example. the contract would make it feel normal that u have to choose one over the other. or were contracts planned as game over options?

I'm not entirely sure yet, right now I'm leaning towards choosing one over the other...
