🕑 Added 2023-04-02 15:35:59 +0000 UTCWell, as expected, firing up visual novel maker after almost a year wasn't without problems...and it was quite tiresome. the new update messed up the audio, so I had to rechange that for everytime the music switched :( ! Yes, if you pay attention to how often that happens, you can imagine that I had a week of work without much fun.
I hope that this update for the engine brings new stability, in that case it would be worth it, let us see what happens. I started implementing the scenes yesterday and it is going well. If everything goes smooth from here, we are looking at a release in 2 weeks already!
I will use the rest of the sunday to make more progress, there isn't much to say other that I am working hard on the release!
I hope you had a good start into april and survived all these april fools jokes without brain damage ;)

Then we will test it thoroughly as soon as we get the update. Maybe I start it from its very beginning once again. I wish I could help you with the coding but I'm afraid I only have some coding experience with the ancient Commodore64. I created a demo and a game in assembly language (machine code) for the C64 at the end of the eighties. Those were great times back then.

i am not sure if i port it after the 0.8 update or after the game is complete, that depends also on whether i find someone capable of porting it or not

it seems to work now, at least what i have tested so far. you can only be 100% sure once it is released

Oh Darktoz..... The prison szene pic and the house slave pice are maybe the best tease and denial i ever had :D You overdid yourself again and just to see these pics makes the worst days to a good one. Hopefully this updated newer version of Visual Novel Maker worked out? Are you going to let port it to Ren'py before it's finished? Or isn't it better to wait until it's finished?

No! Not at all. Ren'Py is much better. I only still use it for Femdom City because I started with it. If I find someone who can do the work I will most likely port it to RenPy
