The first 5 minutes...

I will not be posting next week. I will spend the whole weekend on aiding some friends and their families from the ukraine who do not have a car. I am sure you understand. I do not really want to comment on the situation, you all know how horrible it is right now and I feel like I rather provide some much needed distraction.
So, as I promised you last week, here is the first few minutes of The Shadow over Blackmore. Unfortunetly I used the standard screencapture software while rendering something in the background. That means the quality is not very stable. You will see some pixellation errors and a bit of lag. Sorry for that, I'm not good at this youtube video recording thing. The game experience will be smooth, trust me :)
I thought I'd make this public since a lot of people have been asking what I've been up to and what this new project is about...and because the first 5 minutes do not contain nsfw content.
I am still not sure if the animated main menu screen isn't a bit "overloaded" with fog. You can tell me in the discord if you think it is. And pay attention to the details, like the mouse cursor changing when you hover over something or your driver, bellatrix, blinking when you talk to her.
I am making good progress right now, even though Ren'Py sometimes gives me a hard time.
I will give you another huge update in two weeks about the skills and the inventory, and a sneak peak of the "hotter" scenes in the game.

It is from a group called dark fantasy studio. these guys sell music on game asset stores. pretty much all the music and sounds that you hear are from: audiojungle.net, the unity asset store or gamedevmarket

yea i had a feeling that it would be too much...but when i figured out how to do it in the edit process I got excited and went a bit over the top. I can still fix it and do a little less but rn I am focussing on the remaining 2-3 GUI implementations :)
Good that you take care of your friends in Ukraine. Game looks pretty great! The fog could be a little less, but overall it´s very promising! Very nice look so far!
