yeah…i’ll be very surprised if their relationship survives the events of this book honestly. and it’s also sad because like…talita has been dealing with this kind of let down from mel for 10+ years, so like. she’s been dealing with this for a long time from them :/

The fact that this really doesn't look like it's going to go well makes that scene at the start of the comic when Mel tells Talita she can come to them about anything involving the temps especially sad and kinda tragic in retrospect.
