Question about the big pop-ups in Refreshed Main Menu.

As you’ve probably noticed, sometimes when you launch the game, you get these HUGE full-screen pop-ups with info about events, sales, and DLCs.
My question is – should I try to disable all of them in Refreshed Main Menu, or leave them as is?
It might also be possible to turn off just some of the pop-ups (like the ads), but I haven’t fully looked into this yet, so it’s pure speculation for now.
The thing is, it’s not just ads; they also include details about current events, like the Grim Reaper thing, so that info would be gone too. Keep in mind, this only affects the information about what’s happening, not the actual functionality, which you can still access via the tabs in the upper-left corner of the menu.

Events? Sure. Ads for packs and sales? No. The full-screen ads are often for something I already own. Not being annoyed by those would be a blessing.

EA's response to complaints about pop-ups was to make them full screen... I would love to have the option to block them. However, I do mildly appreciate the event-related ones.

when they open, it doesnt let me close it anymore and i have to restart the game

Honestly I would make a separate mod for the people who like to be notified.

Please no. I love the pop ups for the grim rewards, for example. If anything at least an optional file for it so people who want them can still have them?

I def wouldn't mind if these went away they are such a nuisance! If it's possible to somehow get rid of the Reaper Rewards pop up in the actual game that would be great too. I have no interest in participating in this event and the damn thing takes up like half of my screen every time I open a household or lot, haha!

I don't mind the event pop-ups but the ads are ridiculous. We already get adds shoved in our face every time we load the EA app, then they went and added the shop button. At least in the Sims 3 we could toggle off the shop.

turn them off. It causing them to make an overlay conflicting with tmex tool leaving overlay behind and the screen is inaccessible because of this. We can manually check them anyway.

Yes, please turn off ads only. I absolutely hate all the ad garbage EA keeps throwing at us.
