New Thailand Journal! and Prompt
🕑 Added 2022-11-25 06:18:50 +0000 UTCI’ve written in moleskins religiously for years. Thailand brought me a silk journal. My favorite colors. I write at least three pages each morning. Stream of consciousness. Sipping coffee, sitting in butterfly. Asking myself always… What feels good? The colors of this new journal feel good. Leather and wood and sunshine pouring in from tropical weather feel good. Barefeet feel good. Friendship with the barista who really cares about coffee feels good.
When you write today, make a list of WHAT FEELS GOOD to you in your life right now? Little things, big things, subtle and obvious. In your inner world, externally, in relationships, in work, in dreams and food and music and sex and vacations and books…. Set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes and write continuously. What feels good? What feels good? What feels good? Share your list with us in the comments!

What feels good? A message from a friend. Better yet, a phone call from a friend. A message from someone I admire. Slowly rebuilding my life after trauma. Listening to music. Walking in the morning. The feel of each muscle moving. Stretching and movement. Meditation and Stillness. The sound of world and its life forms. The first cup of coffee. The second cup of coffee. Cleaning the yard. Sitting in the sun. Talking to friends on the street. Making plans for the future. Scheduling trips, planning vacations, being on a vacation or a trip. The taste of sweet pastries. Fresh fruit. Fresh fruit smoothies. A green salad with oil and vinegar. An organic soup already made from a local kitchen. The smile of the clerk at the store or market. The smile of a passerby. The shake or shimmer up my spine when nerves and internal chakras are firing.
