This piece taught me that sometimes, the only way to move forward is to give it time. I sketched this idea a year ago, but I wasn't ready to make it come to life yet, proportion, perspective, anatomy of the body, everything was off, and I had no idea what was wrong with it. If I had rushed the painting, it wouldn't have been nearly as good as it is now.
