AMENNNNN. the musical just was not meant to become a movie. it didn't translate onscreen, but the actual stage musical was SO fantastic. i was so disappointed with the new movie..

I hope you eventually get to see Come From Away. Absolutely one of the best musical I've ever gotten the pleasure to see (should've won best musical in 2017). The proshot is absolutely fantastic.

I voted for it because I think a lot of the talent (Renee, but also Aulii and others) did an amazing job and overall it was a fun watch that would make for an entertaining reaction. Overall am super here for more pro cuts of the theater productions to be available! But this movie was also a good time and worth a watch imo

Totally but I think it’d be better to watch the actual stage production for that. Is there a watchable copy anywhere? It just feels like a lot of polls the current or most talked about thing wins because people recognise it more, not necessarily because it’s the best thing to watch.

For the mean girls movie, I don't think you *need* to. You aren't missing much. However, it'd be fun if you listened to the Mean Girls on Broadway album then listened to the Mean Girls Movie Soundtrack & compared them! :)

Still hoping for Camp Rock & the Descendants franchise will make the poll 🙏 But for this poll, please watch Grease, Rent, Up, and School of Rock!!! All so good. And after you watch Grease or Rent, then you need to check out the TV Live specials (especially Grease LIVE), but definitely watch the movies first.

Rent gets me emo everytime thinking Jonathan never saw his work completed and how much impacted the scene and how much it meant to Jonathan Larsson and was the project he was working before he passed and years later the movie was made and is very underrated to me and then tick tick boom which I love and how much his story lives on through his amazing work and rent is so good...
