A few days late to this reaction, but I’ve enjoyed Benson Boone for a while. Definitely recommend checking out EPs, Walk Me Home and Pulse. There’s some great hidden gems on those EPs

I totally agree with all your references to other artists. He also reminds me of Jamie Cullum (early 2000). He was just in Denmark on tour and now I’m sad I didn’t know him then.

I just recently got into this album about a week ago and it’s becoming one of my favorite releases of this year. Also, Benson just recently opened for Taylor Swift for one of the shows in London which is insane

Yea in the stars is about his grandmother that passes. A lot of people start the listen and think it’s a friendship or relationship and then you get to the saying goodbye cause it’s forever and the 6 feet and your like oh shit this person is gone gone. I cry every time I hear this song. Also in the stars and ghost town were some of his first songs he made years ago and put out.
