Finally watched! Loved your reaction as always. 🙂 I know many comments are about the real life relationship between Channing and Jenna, so I'll leave it to those. BUT fun fact, Jenna actually was a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Nsync, and others before the movie. Also, the foster sister is Alyson Stoner—she was BIG in dancing as a kid, being in Missy Elliott's videos. Then, she did the Cheaper by the Dozen movies, as well as the Camp Rock movies. Highly recommend watching those if u haven't yet. Also, definitely agree with everyone on checking out She's the Man! As well as the rest of the Step Up movies. They each have a little special thing going for them. Also, would love for you to check out Dirty Dancing if you haven't watched that. Iconic. Oh, and have you seen Honey??? Another great dancing movie to check out.

Omg, i'm so glad you enjoyed this movie! Step Up was my introduction to Channing Tatum and after seeing him dance, I was in love hahaha. (and then Magic Mike happened 🙈) I definetly hope you watch Step Up 2 and 3...loved these movies till then!

It's kind of wild to me that you didn't know Channing could dance because this is one of his first big movies. She's the Man was the first thing I saw him in, which came out not long before this, and between his comedic talents in that and his dancing in this, I was in love. And it was very romantic at the time that he and the actress playing Nora, Jenna Dewan, started dating and eventually were married for a while.
