the problem is that if I move them up they're gonna cover at least one of his eye pupils

When they're so low on his nose it kinda makes him look much older. Idk maybe it's just me.

I'm always partial to vibrant colors, but I think maybe some pastel pinks, pastel yellows and pastel greens would look nice with his fur and eyes. Also maybe some pastel blue for highlight.
