Blood clots are back 😭
🕑 Added 2018-10-30 22:06:58 +0000 UTC Doctor gave me the bad news 30 minutes ago. The surgery was unsuccessful. Now we have no real options but for me to loose 100lb and stay on blood thinners and hope it goes away on its own but chances are this is gonna be me playing with fire for the rest of my life. Not too happy today as you might imagine. Not a great birthday, poor Mrs Barnacules is takingThe news worse than I am. Tonight my birthday cake is being changed out with an avocado.

Jerry, I am so sorry. Jan 5th 2018 I had a minor bit of back surgery. 3 days later I was in the ER thinking I had an upper respiratory infection but it turned out that I had two blood clots, one in each lung, one lung was deflating and my heart was enlarged from the stress of trying to keep me alive. I have been on Eliquis ever since. The point I'm trying to make is take each day as it comes and control only what you can. It's frustrating I know...even my surgeon, every time I see him, he tells me he can't understand how this happened to me. We will never know why. We just have to accept it and do what we can to keep it from making a more negative impact on our lives. My heart goes out to you and your family. It will get better. Keep the faith! We all love you!
