Patreon Video - Episode 15 - Creating a River
🕑 Added 2020-10-15 10:55:02 +0000 UTCI got some requests about creating water from you guys and also to expand on what I showed in the YouTube Video about the small creek I created a while back.
Now I needed a shot for the film where the snow is melting and the rivers are flowing, so I took the opportunity to work on that shot and to then be able to elaborate a bit further on how you can create 2D looking water.
I am really happy with the result of this and hope you like this breakdown.
The pattern I made for the water can for sure be experimented with. I think creating some hand animated flowing textures could also look nice. This might be something I play around with in the future.
