#40 - Breakdown of a Shot

This specific shot we are looking at in this breakdown worked out with very few technical difficulties. I really like when things doesn't have to be overly complicated. You can do a lot with just simple planes in a 3D space. Here I let the illustrations /animations and the paintings do most of the work.
When going for a 2D style for a film its very easy to end up with static shots or slight pans on static backgrounds. But by mapping it onto a simple 3D geometry, in this case simple planes, we can get quite a lot more out of the camera moves.

I normally never export videos from Photoshop as I always go via After effects before. But I tend to export an mp4 at a bitrate higher than 10mbps
