All Family Circus comics need to feel like they were drawn no later than 1963, and this one has that 'stuck in the past' feel to it.

Wow. I think you nailed the style. I'd have certainly recognized it without the tagline below. Of course, I'm old, and actually read it in the newspaper on Sundays as a kid...
