Here’s the thing: I was ALWAYS top 5. Okay, maybe not, but always 10 on TWC. It was bots that counteracted everything and pushed me (and other legit comics) out of the top spots. Back in the day (six, maybe ten years ago), the same comics were at the top: TwoKinds, GrrlPower, Delve, etc. But a few years ago, they suddenly got pushed way down by all these furry comics that no one had ever heard of. All due to botting. But TWC (bless their hearts) recently instituted a subtle CAPTCHA system, which means real votes for real comics actually mean something again. I’ve been quietly celebrating over email with my friend Sean over at Spying With Lana. Down with cheaters.
