Marshall, I imported a watch from Modena Italy a few weeks ago, and I’d love for you to restore it. It’s a 1959 Longines and is 1 of 50 pieces commissioned by Enzo Ferrari - he gave them to F1 mechanics, drivers, and collaborators of Ferrari. The watch runs, but not well, and the crystal doesn’t seem to be installed properly. Given the watch’s history, there aren’t many people I’d trust with the restoration, and you are one of them. I thought it might be of interest to you as well given your interest in cars. A couple weeks ago I spoke to someone at Sutcliffe Hansen and they mentioned that you are pretty swamped right now. They asked me to send and email and I did with pictures, but I haven’t received a response. I know you’re busy and I’m in no rush, I just wanted to see if this is a watch you would be interested in restoring. It would be an absolute pleasure to have you work on what is likely the only Ferrari Longines in the US 🙏🏻
