as much as i love folklore, i think some people put too much on it being taylor’s best. obviously it’s all due to personal preference bc i prefer her pop stuff, but i’d choose midnights over folklore any day. i do partially agree that ttpd is a LOT and could have been cut down a bit but the standard album without the anthology tracks - to me - gets better with every listen (and maybe it helps that i saw the eras tour after ttpd got added to the set list so i have a soft spot for a lot of those tracks)
