I think it's also because a lot of things were left unresolved, and neither of them could truly move on. (But I agree.. True love is different)

The fact that it's been 8 years and neither of them have actually moved on from each other... True love in the most intense situation. I hope Desy and Wil can actually be together again by the end of this. I pray for it, but it feels like we're more likely to have a "Shakespearean Tragedy" type story and I'm honestly down for it either way. I love this story and can't wait to see what happens next.
