I started watching your videos not long ago and i found his work when i followed you on Instagram, and i have to thank you for that. In some way his clothes to me have this intimate feeling, that comes from a particular mindset, very eastern i would say. It’s like projecting values (personal values or even life philosophy) into your work, that at first sign may seem simple, but only because its actually part of all that feeling! Then you hear of the materials used, the dyeing, the traditions that take place, and all those little things step by step start to layer into something important. You actually don’t see it, its minimalistic, but in their own they have something profound. Its not about thinking, its about feeling and for this i LOVED their film collection for the SS13 called ZEAL, i really recommend it if you still haven’t seen it
One of my favorite designers. Excited to do a workshop with the West African artisan who taught him indigo next month. Great content, this video is what brought me to your Patreon.
