Another short interview, but I just couldn't keep this whole thing to myself. A brief version of this interview will appear in an upcoming episode. But I needed everyone to see this because of the deep level of commitment to craftsmanship and artisanal processes.
Kartik Research is one of the best collections from this Mens Paris Fashion Week, it's important to me that more people understand this man's awesome work.
FULL PARIS FASHION WEEK VIDEO IS OUT ON MONDAY! I AM BEYOND EXCITED TO SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE.

This really inspired me. I found a jacket, shirt, and pants to acquire. Love them. Looking at the video is cool, but touching these textiles is magnificent. Never felt anything like this.

I could listen to Kartik talk for an hour (at least). This was enlightening, thank you for posting this.

Really appreciate that you brought this brand to light, I remember you went out of your way to interview them last year as well although they were not showing at the time. They're doing incredible stuff with their artisanal craft. Can't believe the textiles themselves are hand loomed! This is definitely the type of dedication and care I love to see in brands. Kudos to you for asking so many relevant questions despite the lack of time.

This runway was very lowkey and wasnβt filmed. This was his very first show π«π«

This is so refreshing.

I loved that skirt, it looked almost minimalistic until you look closer. I love clothes with pieces of other cultures/the designers cultures and history <3
