The Only, Massive, ERD Interview (Henri Alexander Levy, Complete)
🕑 Added 2024-03-21 21:53:33 +0000 UTCThis interview is a long time coming. In January, we were finally able to sit down with Henri for an extended interview. Releasing it now felt right because ERD just showed their best runway collection thus far (Fall 2024).
Henri was interviewed a few brief times for print, there's some very short video interviews from years ago as well that were mostly conducted by interviewers who knew painfully little about ERD or Henri.
Interviews like this one, rare interviews, are very important to Daniella and I. Building relationships that lead to interviews like this takes years and can only happen when we're given the freedom to pursue them. Thank you all for giving us that freedom. We really couldn't do this without each of you. Thank you all.

such joy. but i feel like Henri needed to talk about what mattered to him in the moment. he felt like he was caught up in something else. the whole time. and i hope he can live in the moment =, instead of past or future. I wish i could sit down with him and ask him what do you think about now. remind him that joy is in the present and balance. ITs hard for me too. but we need to grow, and see beauty, love. Forever.

i hate calling things lynchian but henri is a lynchian character. even after this interview there is an heir of mystery to him and his work, but he seems timid and lowkey which isnt uncommon for creative folks
