Take it easy on the 'crappiest inn' talk... Across the last 30 years and in many states and countries, my friends and I have had some of our best times in places that were the modern day equivalent. These are special places that are to be honored and appreciated for their wonderful, non-pretentious atmosphere and budget-friendly offerings.

I don't actually have an explanation for the two doors, but the reason the kitchen is outside is because Lim tried to build a chimney and failed.

Hahah nice! My head-cannon is that it has two front doors. One which was part of the original design and the other that was caused by Lim drunkenly kool-aid-man'ing it through the wall one night.
