Milby's Maps

I definitely used lighter colors on Mont-St-Michel than the ones I used for Caergyd Point. It's different for each map. For example, the Black Loch maps tend to use much darker colors than either of those two. Anyway, it sounds like your computer is working fine!

That waterfall looks nice and bright white, although I do realize that the monitor I normally view my email and web stuff on has the brightness set down and the blue light adjustment on. However, even on my newish LG, the Caergyd Point maps look like I have a filter on them. I only noticed this in comparison to the Mont-Saint-Michel maps. Do those look of similar brightness or not to you? Of course , if nobody else worries about this, then I won't either!

I'm not sure. I rarely use pure white in coloring my maps, so I wouldn't expect any part of them to be that light. This isn't one of my more brightly colored maps, though, so that could be it as well. The waterfalls in this map about as close to pure white as you'll find in anything of mine: https://www.milbysmaps.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Silver-Dragon-Inn-WEB-35x62-1.jpg If that looks fairly bright, it's probably me. If it doesn't, its possible that your monitor might need its colors recalibrated.

Is it just my computer, or are the maps rather dim? Compare to the brilliant white of the DM's notes, I feel like I have some setting wrong on my monitor.
