I saw the Ackee and I was thinking "what sorcery is this..." and proceeded to by 10 cans. I haven't found the Ackee and Saltfish recipe yet. Do you have one of those "But me a coffee" options? I just discovered this mod. I was guilty of not reading the instructions. But i went back and read the installation instructions and it worked. What I did figure out also is if your Sim does not start prep you probably have a CC fridge that is not compatible. If they are getting the food but not prepping your CC counter is the issue. Prepped but not cooking its the CC stove. Cooking but not serving the food your CC counter is not compatible. I have noticed that my game does seem to freeze up now so I am not sure if I missed something.

Hii Were you able to find out the issue that may be causing this in your game ? I’m having the same problem. When I first updated I had all the options for grab & go but it only showed the picture the name was greyed out. I was having problems with delivery so I deleted all the files for groceries, thee kitchen tablet & stirring the pot & started over. My delivery is now working as well as everything else but I only have Oreos for grab and go.

Hey Jayda, I would suggest removing all of your mods. You can do this by creating a new folder on your desktop and moving them in there. Then put only qmbibi mods back in with the most updated lot 51 core mod,and xml injector. Start a new save, don't delete or test in your current save. Then you see if you still have the problem. If you do, make sure you have all the required items for her mods, make sure you have the .ds files deleted and that mac folder as well. You can find this by using the search bar in your mods folder by typing .ds etc. If you don't, take means on of your mods/cc conflict. To find what conflicts, you slowly add the rest of the mods in, test them in that new save and continue to test like that. Also make sure you're deleting your localthumbcache each time you test.

Updated Lot51 and finally got the cookbook to show up without throwing any exceptions! But all of the recipes except for the salads/sandwiches are gone. I'm pretty close to giving up lol, which is really a shame because this is one of my favorite food mods :(

I have deleted all the .DS Stores, and re-downloading everything and get script fails for the stirring pot and tablet. I have the game updated and every pack. My express delivery has been bugged to where I can only order one thing from each delivery. I even tried to repair my game. Any other ideas? I love these mods and playing without them aren't the same!

I got it working. Didn't realize Lot 51 was updated, so I did that. Tried to avoid updating my game because updating all mods are a train wreck but it wasn't terrible for once. Lol. This works now, BUT Family Recipes is still blank in-game.

Hi there, I know people here are already telling you that their last exception is telling them that its broken but i would like to let you know that this mod didnt even let me start my game- basically when i clicked on start, opened task manager i saw the sims starting and then it just shutted off. If you are using better exceptions by twistedmexi the modder said its not very reliable with minor issues... so use with caution. I took it out my game and the mods it says were broken is actually fine.

Well thank you to the person that reported that the recipes had an update that needed to be installed. Now the updates work fine. I am going to send a message to Qmbibi and suggest that she list all possible needed updates when she updates the cookbook and tablet. She does not always have time to respond, but she does get the messages and using them to fix and correct things.

100% this! I had the same error, so I removed it just to see because it was only on one lot. It just gave me a different one when I tried to load the lot again so something in the lot is the issue not the mod.

As I said in another post: TwistedMexi mod is nice, but it is not perfect. It will often flag things that it just doesn't understand. His mods sometimes miss the mark. I am not having any issues with the tablet, and MCCommand does not report any problems. My suggestion is that you not rely on Mexi's mod as an indicator.

Here is what I did that works. I update the tablet and the groceries. That fixed some previous issues I'd had. However I had the same issue with the updated cooking mod itself so I too reverted back to 12 for that only. This seems to be the best combo.

For some reason I now can't load any of my saves after I updated to the newest version today> this is one of my fav mods so I don't just want to delete it completely someone please help < when i try to ask chat gpt it gives me this >A food object (a plate of food) is trying to change state — like becoming "spoiled" or being rated for "quality" — but it’s missing its recipe data (NoneType means no data). When the game tries to call get_base_recipe(), it crashes because there's no recipe to pull from.>>> any idea what i have to do to fix this?

none of the stp recipes are showing, there's still only 2 recipes for me and the other categories are blank i keep updating my mods when you post an update and all my recipes were working before the updated recipe files came out. i have no conflicts due to me literally having all your mods in game for months now all the sudden the food doesn't show :((

Please update this again!! It’s broken! I tried to load into my save and got a critical last/better exception and it was from one of ur recipes (Spinach Dip). I had to delete my sims refrigerator and all the plates. If anyone is having the same problem please take ur MCCC Last exception to the Sims After Dark discord server and they will help you.

After that it’s individual on each post, I think it’s just the strawberry cake and what I uploaded the other day. Y’all the LE your getting is in regards to the TABLET. I took the ingredient crafting out the cookbook completely, so when the tablet is trying to load all its interactions it can’t find the ingredient one, throwing LE. It’s okay and the tablet has an update coming once I do the other updates coming LOL ♥️
