Nepenthes rajah which grows on Mt Kinabalu and has the largest 'cups' of any known Nepenthes is locally known as the rat trap plant. I have a friend who is a botanist for the park and he's seen a newly dead rat headfirst in a large pitcher, in 9 days it was just a bit of fur and some bones, in 13 days it was completely gone. There is also a Nepenthes in Brunei that has a little hook under the hood for bats to roost in, the bats poop feeds the plant
