The jutsu called upon the power of the Death God to sever the souls of both the caster and the target, sealing them within the Death God’s stomach, where they would battle for eternity.

Not sure if I'm missing something, but I feel like the fact that Akira didn't do *just* one more simulation is super weak. It just feels so painfully obvious to simulate the night of the massacre with the objective of killing the 3rd in mind. Going into the event without knowing what to expect feels super foolish. In my head, he should have collected the rewards for his last simulation, and run one more with the focus on the massacre night. Sure, maybe if a simulation cost 10 million ryo then I could see an argument, but if his simulation cost was that much, then he wouldn't need to worry about it in the first place. Again, am I missing something? I guess this sort of setup has more action, but it just feels messy to me.
