NEW MOD: Better Inventory (Searchable)
🕑 Added 2024-04-28 16:27:46 +0000 UTCThe latest in my quickly growing Search Collection, this mod adds a search to the sims inventory panel!
I also have some more ideas for this one in the future, hence the "Better" moniker.
Usage:
Use the panel normally, and you'll find the search bar in the top left of the panel, under the Filter button. The search works in conjunction with the usual filters.
If you'd like to support me, you can grab this mod immediately by becoming a patron,
and downloading from here
Otherwise as always, it will be public on TwistedMexi.com when it officially releases on 5/25.

The filenames would probably be the best way.... but then I suppose it would only work for CC. Oof! No wonder you say it would be complex to do

I don't speak much English and I'm writing this comment using Google translator, so I apologize in advance if there is any mistake or some or all of what I write doesn't make sense. First of all, you are doing a really great job with these search modifications, they are all great! But apart from that, I would like to suggest an idea for a later mod, sorry for doing it here, this is probably the wrong place for such suggestions, but I don't have Discord and I didn't know where else I could do it, post a suggestion. I mean the mod that was supposed to unlock the ocean from 2018 (https://simscommunity.info/2018/09/07/the-sims-4-a-modder-is-trying-to-unlock-ocean -swimming/) as far as I know, it never made it out of the pre-alpha phase, which is a pity, it would be great if someone competent took over and finished this brilliant project!

That's what I was thinking. It would definitely be a complex feature if ever created and might not work for all cas cc due to many being nameless. Thanks for all the work you do, Mexi!

That's the issue, much more of a complex feature because nearly all cas items are nameless

I second this!! Search in CAS would be amazing! I wonder if that would mean you'd have to know the package name or if it could be similar to build mode.
